"The Old Station" and "Langmorn Station"
Raglan, Central Queensland
Upon arrival at “The Old Station”, a member of the family will board the coach and treat visitors a guided tour of our property, discussing all aspects of
operation and our lifestyle.
Guests will then be treated to a guided tour of the original Creed family homestead, built in 1873. This building is the oldest lived-in home in the Gladstone
region. Our pet kangaroos live in the garden and are always popular with the guests. Guests can feed the kangaroos and enjoy their company whilst enjoying our
morning/afternoon tea seated at the beautiful timber outdoor furniture, situated under the Crows Ash tree at the rear of the building. Damper, slices, cakes
and billy tea are always popular with the guests. Upon departure our brochure is issued to visitors as a memorabilia of their visit.
Dinner/Bed/Breakfast 4 Star Farmstay
Self-driving guests and aviators can both experience the true country hospitality at “Langmorn”. The comfortable homestead is a large restored “Queenslander”
built in 1873 from local timber. The original shingled roof, now covered with iron, is still visible along the verandah. Within the picturesque garden are pet
kangaroos that the guests will become great friends with during their stay. A member of the family will treat visitors to a personal property tour. All aspects
of our operation will be explained as you tour around the property.
Pre-dinner drinks and nibblies are enjoyed prior to the 3 course evening meal. The meal includes soup, beef main meal with vegetables and dessert. The meal is
complemented with table wine of choice and concluded with tea or coffee. We always try to cater for special dietary requirements. Breakfast is buffet continental
style with an optional cooked meal.
Air-conditioned rooms within the homestead and adjoining cottage with en-suite bathrooms are traditional and comfortable. A maximum of 4 double rooms are
available including 1 family room. The family room consists of 1 double and 1 bunk with bathroom. Kettle, microwave, refrigerator and sink facilities are
included.
Upon departure our brochure is issued to visitors as a memorabilia of their visit. This is a memory of our part of Australia that really enriches the tour for
each visitor.
